National seminar on “Management-The Third Eye” concludes

Chandigarh, February 24 2018: In today’s era, doing business is not as easy as it used to be before. Due to increasing competition, managers have to work 24 hours. Only having two eyes is not enough, managers have to use the third eye- ‘Eye of Insight’. All people associated with the management must have knowledge of all three dimensions,says Anupam Anand, National Vice President of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM).

A National Seminar was organized by NIPM-Punjab Chapter on ‘Management-the Third Eye’ in collaboration with NIPM-National Office at CII, Sector-31 Chandigarh. Basic objective of this program was the integration of three dimensions with appropriate management interventions. The effectiveness depends on the leader in the helms of affairs.

In the seminar, all three aspects of management were explained in detail. The purpose of this seminar was to re-set the mission, vision and goals of organizations.

Elaborating more on the subject Anupam Anand dwelt on the constitution of teams, felicitating them to achieve organisation objectives, significance of collaborations and minimizing areas of conflict within organisation. When HR attends a seminar like this, they can get certain things in the boundaries which they can use for consideration.

This seminar was divided into two days of different sessions in which the speakers from across the country shared their views. In addition to Programme Director Dr. K. K. Chaudhuri, Director of Techno India Ltd. Dr. R.T. Goswami, Director of Hindustan Copper Limited Kolkata and National Vice-President of NIPM Anupam Anand, Director (Personnel) of Eastern Coalfields Ltd. K.S. Patra, Northern Coalfields Director (Personnel) Shantilata Sahu and Energize Consulting Australia PTY MD Dr. Som Saini etc. shared their views on the same.

NIPM National President Somesh Das Gupta shared about a distance learning course – PGDM-HR by NIPM which can be done in affordable fees for whole course of 2 years. This course can be done with regular graduation.

Programme Director K.K. Chaudhari dwelt upon three dimensions of management. First dimension is Goal-orientation, Second dimension is Systems-orientation and Third dimension being Leadership-orientation.

NIPM National President Somesh Das Gupta and Additional General secretary Dr P.K. Sahu attended the valedictory session of seminar. This program was organized with the guidance of NIPM Executive Director SN Singh and Chairman of Punjab Chapter S. P. Bansal.

Energize Consulting Australia PTY MD Dr. Som Saini explained the 7 Star Stealth Leadership. He said, “Try to go beyond your defined properties and focus on communicating skills. It is important to know when to say and what. HR people are good leaders and can be good CEO’s as well.” His Australian Colleague Adrea Putting, the other author of organisation also assisted him.

In this seminar, public and private sectors like Hindustan Copper Limited, IFFCO Ltd, GAIL, NELCO, Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries, Bharat Coke, India Power Corporation, PCCPL etc came to participate.
