Punjab Chapter organised Annual\u00a0 <\/span>Business Quiz\u00a0 <\/span>in collaboration with\u00a0 <\/span>Student Chapter of\u00a0 <\/span>Amity Global Business School, Chandigarh Campus . 15\u00a0B Schools Teams from Tri-city and other parts of Punjab participated in the event. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Shivali Dhingra, Director Amity Global business School, Chandigarh.\u00a0 <\/span>Mr. SP Bansal ,Chairman Punjab Chapter\u00a0 <\/span>in his address emphasised need for\u00a0 <\/span>such events to encourage students to showcase talent\u00a0 <\/span>and\u00a0 <\/span>prepare students\u00a0 <\/span>to face future corporate Challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

The quiz comprised of three different rounds including Written Test and Buzzer Round. After 2<\/span>nd<\/sup><\/span> and third round three teams could make for final. These teams were 2nd runners up from Govt PG College of Commerce Sector 42, Chandigarh,\u00a0 <\/span>1<\/span>st<\/sup><\/span> runners from\u00a0 <\/span>L M Thapar College of Management and winning team from Amity Global Business School, Chandigarh Campus.\u00a0 <\/span>The winning team comprised of Ms. Harpreet Kaur Sandhu\u00a0 <\/span>and Mr. Nimish Tandon from Amity Business School\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The winning teams were given Trophy and a cash prize . Amity Director Dr. Shivali Dhingra congratulated the winning teams and encouraged all the participants and students\u00a0 <\/span>for more such events to bridge the\u00a0 <\/span>skill gap between industry and academia world. \u00a0 <\/span>Ms Reetika, Faculty member,\u00a0 <\/span>conducted the Quiz<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr Babita, Assistant Dean, Amity Chandigarh\u00a0 <\/span>and Mentor of Student Chapter\u00a0 <\/span>presented\u00a0 <\/span>vote of thanks .Also present\u00a0 <\/span>on this occasion were\u00a0 <\/span>NIPM\u00a0 <\/span>National Council Member Capt Naresh Kakkar, Vice Chairman Dr M M Singh and NIPM executive members\u00a0 <\/span>in addition to large number of students and faculty members from Amity and participating Institutes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Winning\u00a0 <\/span>Team\u00a0 <\/span>from Amity and 1<\/span>st<\/sup><\/span> Runner up team\u00a0 <\/span>of Shobhit Tripathi and\u00a0 <\/span>Ankit Misra\u00a0 <\/span>from Thapar School of Management \u00a0 <\/span>represented Northern Region\u00a0 <\/span>in\u00a0 <\/span>National Quiz held\u00a0 <\/span>at Bangalore on 15th Sept. Thapar Team was declared 1st Runner up\u00a0 <\/span>and won a cash Prize of Rs 15000 and\u00a0 <\/span>a trophy \u00a0 <\/span>in\u00a0 <\/span>National Competition. <\/span><\/p>\n

Congrats\u00a0 <\/span>to both teams for reaching Nationals and Shobhit and Ankit\u00a0 <\/span>for winning it . Well Done!<\/span><\/p>\n
