Workshop on Organisational Rejuvenation – Change Management

One-day workshop on the theme Organizational Rejuvenation Through Transformational Management Practices and New Age Arbitrage was organized by Punjab Chapter at PHD Chamber of Commerce (PHDCCI) Chandigarh on 24 th Nov 2018. The workshop was organized keeping in mind industry’s need to have competitive edge which is possible only with more effectiveness of its managers. Further, researches indicate that leaders’ role is most critical driver for employee engagement. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr.Harish Nayar ,IAS,Special Secretary Finance UT Chandigarh,while the keyNote Speaker was Professor Amit Mittal, Dean, Chitkara University.
Mr. SP Bansal, Chairman of the Chapter in his welcome note emphasized need HR Professionals and Leaders of Industry to be more proactive to manage change besides highlighting activities of Punjab Chapter and its future plans. Eminent speakers included Mr.Vivek Atray, former IAS officer and a Motivational speaker, Dr. Som Saini, a Melbourne based Management professional and Past Chairman of Chapter, Dr. A.K Singh Suryavanshi ,Senior Management Professor and former Vice Chancellor besides Dr. Nandita Mehta, a senior HR professional.
Dr. Saini presented seven Star Model for Stealth Leadership. Dr. Nandita talked about managing expectations of VUKA. Mr. Atray talked on leadership role in organization. Mr. Ajay Bakshi Hon Secretary of NIPM presented a vote of Thanks.
The participants gave excellent feedback of the program and appreciated how important are such programs to charge them from time to time with such interventions. The workshop was attended by 50 senior HR Professionals,NIPM Executive Members and
academicians including management students from prominent corporate and public sector undertakings like Gail India, IFFCO, Punjab Agro, Claas India, Godrej, Molson Coors, Kangaroo, ,Rockman.
