The Chapter organized a program on 20.02.2016 in the evening at Hotel KC Residency, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh. The programme was attended by several HR Heads and professionals across industries from Private and Public sector companies from Punjab, Himachal and Chandigarh. Welcome address was given by Sh. S. P. Bansal, Chairman of the Chapter. The program had a two hour session on important HR topics like Employee Engagement, Sexual Harassment Law and Latest amendments in Labour Laws delivered by experts of the field. Dr. Som Saini, past Chairman of the Punjab Chapter a member of Australia Human Resource Management Association (ARHM) addressed the participants on the concept of Employee Engagement. Mr. S. B. Khullar, a renowned HR professional, addressed the topic of Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and Policy to be framed there-under and Mr. A. K. Bakshi, an practicing Advocate and a Labour law and IR Expert highlighted the latest amendments in various Labour Laws to benefit the members and participants. The program was conducted by Dr. Madan Mohan Singh, Head Talent Management & Development, API Manufacturing – Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
